"Prophet"

They heard it said, "sightings" was in his gene
So they set out to remake him
In their image, according to their likeness
A "prophet" of their revelation.

With loud noise they crowned him
Ubiquitous exposure to make his "prophecy" heard
A little chip to transmit their revelations
From their super computer through him to you.

But another revelation was before theirs
A prophecy before their "Implant"
"I Reject it! I Reject it!" Uncanny screech in the night
"Do you want to make me a leader of evil men?"

2002 till date that screech continues
Against people accustomed to having their way
This "prophet" is also accustomed to The Way
Echoes from the past, Plato´s cave revealed.

Multipurpose has this "microchip prophet" become
To dexterous hands at the super computer switchboard
As to will, as to make and as to deliver
Though the world be fooled
This "prophet" know the voice from the Voice.
